$75,000 grant will support training program for living-wage careers in Memphis
The Regions Foundation announces $25,000 Memphis Medical District Collaborative grant to elevate education, advance workforce training and foster long-term career connections.
MMDC recently partnered with Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare to support the Career Launch Academy.
In 2018, MMDC began conversations with Cleveland Street's Viet Hoa Market on a facade improvement and expansion project.
The original service zone of Downtown and New Chicago was expanded to include Presidents Island and areas of South Memphis.
Groove On-Demand was launched in 2021 with the goal of providing affordable transportation to key Downtown corridors. But the service has seen its popularity spike this year as gas prices in the Mid-South hit record highs.
